Sorry, I'm extremely busy at the moment, so I wrote no new blog post lately. But today, I will be publishing one of my triptych paintings in metallic acrylic.
Size: 2x 30cm x 40cm and 1x 30cm x 30cm Medium: Acrylics on 4cm deep canvas
Found you via Robin Janning's blog (Gramercy Galleria). I'm impressed with your work and also that you're giving a forum for other artists. I have a similar approach with writers and artists on my own blog, Deepwater Journal.
I especially like this triptych (and the close up of the detail in your next newest post). I'm reminded of the last touch of green in a grain field just before the harrows come to cut. I would never have imagined such depth and feeling to come from metallics!

Hi Max
I wondered when you would get to posting something! This is an interesting piece ... I like the idea of the asymetric sizes to the canvases.
I would like to have a closer view .... it is hard to see the effects. Perhaps you could post an enlarged detail from one of them?
This looks just the thing for a corporate office interior or a bank. And would also look great in a minimalist style home.

Thanks Lesly! Yes, I will post a close shot of this painting. I hope, I find more time for my weblog in the future.
